VR Diverse was founded as the COVID pandemic took the world by storm. Our founders have an extensive and solid history in creating and improving medical care access to an underserved population and improving the health of all communities for over two decades. As the crisis impacted the health of our nation, all the leading experts directed us to incorporate defining safety measures that significantly contributed to unprecedented demand for PPE. Unfortunately, the demand was considerably higher than the supplies available. Our team also personally experienced the challenges as their family, friends, compassionate colleagues and professional networks consisted of outstanding passionate frontline healthcare workers who were put in extremely high-risk situations with very limited safeguards in place. As the infections increased so was the strong sense of urgency to do something to help all those who made substantial sacrifices and made their life’s mission about doing a greater good in the world….improving the lives of others.
VR Diverse was founded to enhance the safety and health for all communities. The health of entire community has always been a priority for us and the solution we bring is an array of quality products to support best practices to reduce risks associated with the spread of infections. We worked diligently to foster strategic relationships and establish efficient supply chain pipelines so that access to high quality PPE and interrelated products can be made available for frontline workers, essential workers and communities across our nation at reasonable costs. The incredible experience we gained in being solution driven and removing barriers to access for medical services was instrumental in our ability to develop an efficient supply chain pipeline and improve access to products to meet the optimal goals for best practices while positively impacting all communities.
As a minority woman owned business we deeply identify and understand the pandemic’s extended impact on all businesses and connected communities. Our model and approach was designed to support everyone which is why we put a no minimums policy on all orders. As a standard protocol during times like these many of the nation’s largest distributors were forced to implement allocation of essential medical supplies. While even the largest health systems faced shortages in attaining much needed protective gear, many independent smaller entities whose mission was also critical to fulfilling the needs of the public faced even greater challenges with obtaining much need PPE. We wanted to develop a fair platform where anyone and everyone who needed these products could get it in the quantities they need it and keep our nation progressing on a positive path to recovery. We have a great confidence in the belief that difficult situations are best overcome when we can all work together to do the very best for each other.
